Large-tier pricing starts from the listed figure: final pricing reflects enrolment, campuses, implementation and support requirements. Handwriting scanning (Writeiq Vision) is available at every tier and is currently in its pilot phase; per-tier included scan volumes will be published when standard packaging is confirmed.

We've kept the structure deliberately simple. One annual fee per product, set by your enrolment band. Every paid tier includes the full marking and allocation engines; tier differences are about scale, support, and a couple of additions like Vision scan and SSO. Assess the students you do not have yet.
Transition and orientation writing, scholarship and placement sittings. Candidates sit a normal Writeiq task before they enrol, and their results are kept separate from your school's reporting until they become your students.
How it works
- Add the candidates as an intake cohort. They are not enrolled students, so they do not count toward your enrolment tier or your licence cost.
- They write, you scan, and every result is confirmed by a teacher exactly as it is for your own students.
- Results stay out of your cohort, growth and NAPLAN reporting, so your school's numbers describe your school.
- Enrol a candidate and their transition writing comes with them as a measured starting point for the year.
- Candidates who do not enrol are deleted 90 days after the sitting.
What the results mean
- Students entering Year 7 or Year 9 are measured against that year's standard.
- NAPLAN at Years 7 and 9 is sat in March, about six weeks into the year, so it reflects the year before. A Year 6 leaver is compared with students at much the same point in their learning, not on content they have not been taught.
- Other entry years are measured against the year the candidate is finishing, and those results are indicative.
- A result describes one piece of writing on one day. It is not a placement decision, and it says nothing about how a student will perform once they start.
- Your school needs a lawful basis and parental consent to assess writing from children who are not yet enrolled.
The 2026 Founding Schools Evidence Partnership funds three structured implementations: capped cohorts, teacher-confirmed results and blind moderation. We work with participating schools directly, not through a support queue. Apply for one of three places or register interest for 2027.
