Writeiq is inviting three Australian schools to join the 2026 Founding Schools Evidence Partnership. Participating schools receive fully funded, structured access during Terms 3 and 4 - licence fees waived - including onboarding, implementation support and a school evidence report.
The partnership will examine blind teacher–Writeiq agreement, marking workflow, student feedback, Teach Next and responsible artificial-intelligence implementation, in real Australian classrooms, under a structured plan. It builds the first multi-school blind evidence in this category - and the results publish with confidence intervals either way.
It is not an open beta or an unrestricted free trial. Participation is capped and structured, and every official result is confirmed by a teacher: Writeiq's analysis is advisory until your teacher confirms it, and the teacher-confirmed result is the only official record.
Licence fees waived for Terms 3 and 4, 2026, for the agreed cohort. No card, no auto-renewal.

Selection weighs implementation capacity: a named sponsor and coordinator, a cohort that already exists in your 2026 plan, a realistic privacy sign-off pathway, and a marking culture where teacher confirmation lands naturally. Applying does not guarantee selection, and an unsuccessful application registers your school first in line for 2027.

No. Publicity permissions are separate opt-ins and a school can decline all of them. A testimonial is never required.
Writeiq produces a suggested result with the evidence highlighted in the student's own writing. Your teacher confirms or adjusts it, and the teacher-confirmed result is the only official record. There is no auto-finalisation path in the product.
On established public writing-assessment corpora the engine agrees with expert human scores at quadratic weighted kappa 0.737 on locked held-out benchmark essays (0.740 when whole prompts were withheld), inside the published human inter-rater band for those corpora. That is engine-level evidence against holistic external rubrics, not a year-level calibration - building year-level evidence in Australian classrooms is why this partnership exists.
